i KNOW there's something in the dark. something staring down at me while i cover myself with my blankets...it could have been hiding in the closet.....

but one day when i was about seven, i realized i was one of the things in the dark... and the things in the dark should be wary of me...

there are good forces everywhere, and in every place. just be be friendly to the good and nurturing forces of our world.

Unsu,I have been in motel room that I saw a face that was pissed off and was right in front of me. I managed to go to sleep and asked the motel mgr the next day if someone had died in the room I stayed in, He replied that a man had hung himself in there a few years back

I was afraid to sleep alone in the dark all my life, always had strange shapes, sensations, shadows, etc., until my dad died a year ago...
Now - I have no fear whatsoever, which amazes me. I can sleep in the dark, get up to walk through my pitch black apartment to the bathroom, etc., and I feel absolutely comfortable.
My mom, who also was always afraid in the dark, has told me the same thing - that since he died she feels amazingly unafraid, although she expected to have a very hard time with this since she is alone now for the first time in many years.
On the day he died, my mom, my sister and I had a talk with my dad about what happens when people die...we had discussed it before, but that day we told him that we all wanted to KNOW, and that if it was possible, we wanted him to contact us in some way after he passed. He has done this, many times in various ways - if I had been the most skeptical person in the world before I would not be able to deny this stuff at this point.
So we think he is the reason that we feel so unafraid now.
