do you believe in ghosts?
i sure do. they are so there. we've got tons in Hawaii. being here in Hawaii, it is bliss to NOT know where they really are because practically the entire island chain is haunted.

Re: do you believe?
Fri, March 19, 2004 - 4:08 PMYup, sure do. I've had too many experiences not to believe there's something going on. I hadn't heard there were so many ghosts in Hawaii. Why is that?
Where I live in New York State, there's an old cemetery with headstones from when the first Dutch settlers came over in the 1600s. That's a pretty cool place to visit. The history's so thick, you can feel it. It's always a weird experience being in a graveyard, isn't it? -

Re: do you believe?
Sat, April 30, 2005 - 6:32 PMI'm not saying graveyards aren't creepy, because they are. But it's never made sense to me how graveyards can be haunted... I mean, the people didn't die there.
But I've been to some active bone yards, so I know they can be... it just baffles me sometimes. -

Re: do you believe?
Sun, May 1, 2005 - 9:01 AMI have always been of the opinion that collective belief in ghosts can account for a lot of the activity. Not that only people who believe are affected, but that belief contributes energy to the phenomena, so that even if only people who do not believe are present, there will still be phenomena because other people in the world do believe. (Though obviously it helps if the non-believers are psychically endowed, even if they don't know it.) Places also pick up "charges" from those who visit it, and so because many people go to a graveyard to visit their dead loved ones, the spirits of their loved ones (or energy simulating the spirits of their loved ones) will accrue in a graveyard over time.
Think of belief as a psychic donation of energy. If there is no recipient to receive the psychic donation, then your consciousness can create a "Thought-form" to be the recipient. If there is something to receive the energy, then it will become stronger the more you or others believe. -

Mon, May 2, 2005 - 2:41 PMThough that would make me believe that every God in every religion truly exists apart from the Whole, which is the One energy I believe is personified into the hundreds & thousands of deities & spirits that are worshipped all over the world.
