I know this tribe is about ghosts but I feel this is the perfect place to find answers to what happened to me and my bf. Many of you seem knowledgeable on these kinds of things and I need an answer. Can you help?
We were standing on a driveway with about 4 other friends, grilling. It was after dark. We embraced and then all of a sudden we were lifted up in the air, above the house, as one body with two heads...just looking into each others eyes. Then it's like we 'came to' and were back on the ground holding each other. I looked at him and asked, "Did you feel that?" And he assured me that he had.
No one around us 'saw' it happen, it just happened to US. Right in the middle of everyone.
We turned, walked over the step and sat down...just looking off across the yard in utter amazement. We couldn't believe it. We didn't tell anyone because we thought they'd think we were nuts. But I have told people since then because it was so real and it DID happen to us. I don't know what it was, what it's called and it never happened again. Does anyone have any explanation for this?

We also 4-wheeled back into a nighttime meadow, turned off the vehicle and were sitting there to watch for deer. It was still and very quiet. All of a sudden a beam of light from the sky surround us like a big circle. Just past the circle the meadow was very dark. We sat there, again, in amazement. I again asked, "Did you see that?" and again he said yes.
Why have these things happened to us as a couple? What is it?

Fri, September 8, 2006 - 2:08 PMi have had the 'rising in the air ' thing happen to me a few times. twice when surrounded by friends that were all distracted by other things when it happened, and did not see.
i couldn't call out to them to look...
it was strange.. but the cats noticed and were looking right at me.
when you two get together your energy increases and wierdness will happen around you. -

I wonder what our faces look like when it happens. lol. BLANK? :O
Or maybe what seems to last for a few minutes only really lasted a second or two. -

Tue, September 12, 2006 - 9:23 AMi was rising by myself... it was just interesting that those around me were moving but POINTEDLY distracted. the cats all turned to look and mew... and they were looking up at me as i arose.
not sure why, but i felt the intent of the distraction...
